Our Church Today
We are a lively church set in the seaside and University town of Aberystwyth in West Wales. We live by the principle that Church is not just for a Sunday! We are open every day, with projects, events, groups, and prayer meetings running daily. There is something for every age and background, from parents and toddlers to our Mature Munch dining club. We have two services on Sundays, at 10.30am and 6.30pm. Services usually last for between an hour and an hour and a half. Both our services are relaxed and friendly. We are passionate in our worship to God, as well as learning and growing in Him. We have Sunday club for children of different ages during our Sunday morning service. Following our morning service and before our evening one, refreshments are served while we chat and get to know each other better.

Our congregation is culturally diverse and has people of all ages and backgrounds. We love our local community and are dedicated to serving it. We are a family and everyone is welcome.

Faith
In St Mike’s our Faith is at the centre of all that we do. It affects every activity, every conversation and every decision. We are passionate about our faith. It is our hearts' desire to proclaim it in our Church, our community, and the rest of the world.
Above all else we desire to see all people come to know the one true God, as revealed in Holy Scripture.
In faith we believe in "God the Father who created all things; He created a perfect world that has fallen due to sin. Because of that sin, the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, to come to earth to show His love for all by His death and resurrection. We believe that through His death and resurrection, as well as the confession of our sins, we are forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life. With the help of the Holy Spirit, and until Jesus returns, we are called to grow in faith, help others to know God and demonstrate His love for all people.

Family
In St Mike’s we believe that our Church should feel like a family. A family where all are welcome, whatever their age, status or background. A family where we care for each other and grow together. A family where, whatever our differences, we seek unity as we seek to grow closer in God. A family that is always growing, in terms of people, love and dedication to God. A family where it is safe to be ourselves, just as God made us. A space where we are free to laugh, cry and be just as we are. Above all, a family that is marked by the love of God and changed because of His love for us.
Fun
In St Mike’s we celebrate our faith and family by having fun. We want to celebrate all that God has done for us by living lives of joy. In the good times, the bad times and in the in between times, we rejoice in God and in all He does for us. We take comfort in the knowledge that God is with us in all circumstances. We want to take joy and have fun as we continue to grow in the knowledge and love of God.
