Safeguarding
St Michael’s Church is part of the Aberystwyth Local Ministry Area family of churches and is committed to the Church in Wales' safeguarding policy. We aim to provide a safe environment for everyone to come together to worship and be a part of our church community.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Safeguarding means preventing harm to children and adults at risk by protecting them from abuse or neglect.

The Church in Wales is committed to safeguarding as an integral part of its life, mission and ministry.
The Church in Wales will:
-
promote the well-being of children and adults at risk

-
work to prevent abuse or harm from occurring
-
seek to protect and respond well to those that have been abused.
